Career
Milne played in Morecambe, Preston North End , the Liverpool , Blackpool and Wigan Athletic . Following his playing career, he was a coach at Wigan Athletic, Coventry City , Leicester City , the Turkish clubs Beşiktaş Istanbul , Trabzonspor and Bursaspor , and in Japan Nagoya Grampus Eight .
He played a total of 14 times for England and was temporarily considered a candidate for the coaching position of the selection.
