Gottfried Adam

Gottfried Adam (born December 1, 1939 in Treysa ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1958 at the Melanchthon School Steinatal , the 1st theological exam at the University of Bonn in 1965, the doctorate in the subject of systematic theology (predestination and Lutheran early orthodoxy. Samuel Huber and Aegidius Hunnius ) at the University of Bonn, the 2nd theological Exams 1969, the habilitation for the subject practical theology 1975 (The teaching of the church. Studies for confirmation work) at the University of Marburg he became 1976 lecturer for practical theology in Marburg . 1978/1979 he represented the chair for practical theology at the University of Göttingen . In 1980 he taught as a professor for practical theology at the University of Marburg. In 1981 he was appointed to the chair for Protestant theology with a focus on religious education and didactics of religious instruction at the University of Würzburg . In 1992 he became a full professor for religious education at the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna .
