Gottfried Frölich
Gottfried Frölich (born June 3, 1894 in Dresden , † July 30, 1959 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) was a German officer , most recently major general in World War II .
Life
Frölich served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr and worked as a commander and general staff officer in various units. During the Second World War he was in command of the 36th Motorized Infantry Division and the 8th Panzer Division .
