Gottfried Loher

Gottfried Loher (born June 7, 1914 in Maierhof near Stubenberg , † December 2, 1995 in Stubenberg ) was a German farmer and politician of the Bavarian Party .

Loher attended elementary school in Stubenberg and also trained as a farmer on his parents' farm. In addition, he did a one-year internship at the estate administration in Schönburg and worked as a soldier for two years. Then he attended the agricultural school in Pfarrkirchen . Since May 1, 1935, he was NSDAP - Member no. 3635750 with static membership from October 1936 until December 1938.

During the Second World War he was used on various fronts, in 1945 he was seriously wounded in Frankfurt (Oder) . In 1948 he took over his parents' farm. He headed the local association of the VdK in Stubenberg and was a member of the district board of the VdK in Pfarrkirchen, in addition he was the local and district chairman of the Bavarian farmers' association .

Loher belonged to the local council from 1952 and from 1960 to the district council and the district committee. In the Bavarian Party, he chaired the parish church district association and the agricultural committee in Lower Bavaria . From 1962 to 1966 he sat for one term in the Bavarian state parliament . He served as first secretary for a short time towards the end of the term. In October 1967 he was elected deputy state chairman.
