Gottfried Ruegenberg

Gottfried Ruegenberg (born April 2, 1845 in Olpe ; † January 16, 1909 in Bonn ) was a German doctor and member of the Center Party .

Life

He attended the Petrinum grammar school in Brilon . He then studied medicine in Bonn , Breslau and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Marchia Bonn fraternity in 1862 . He was promoted to Dr. med. PhD Ruegenberg participated in the German War of 1866 and the Franco-German War of 1870/71. Between 1868 and 1892 he was a district doctor in Kärlich in the Koblenz district . Then Ruegenberg practiced in Bonn. He carried the honorary title of a secret medical council .

Ruegenberg belonged to the Center Party. He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1899 to 1908 . From 1903 he was also a member of the Reichstag . There he represented the constituency Adenau - Cochem - Zell .
