Gottfried Sunday
Gottfried Sonntag (born February 10, 1846 near Schwarzenbach (Upper Palatinate) , † July 23, 1921 in Bayreuth ) was a German composer.
Sunday was a Stabshoboist ( Hautboist of the infantry) in the Bavarian Infantry Regiment 7 and composed famous marches. His most famous march is the Nibelungenmarsch with motifs from the Ring of the Nibelung , for example Siegfried's "Hornruf" by Richard Wagner .
