action

The place of the drama is a hairdressing salon. In it, seven women (all with the name Claus) sit over the crossword puzzles of the Yellow Press , tracing the word God .

The designation “trophobia” is to be explained as a play on “ claustrophobia ” in view of the common name “Claus” of the people appearing . The "Gotthelm" (a drying hood in one piece) or the overall title go back to the neurotheologist Michael Persinger , who assumes that neural impulses can stimulate mystical experiences.

admission

Christian Gampert from Deutschlandfunk called the staging of the premiere in a positive way: “a chaotic panel discussion with horribly tastelessly dressed speaking harlequins, actresses who act, breathe, whisper, scream, snort, twitch, hyperventilate, embody.” He attested to the piece itself “Spinning, instantly associating language games”. In a text review, the world called the piece a “virtuoso, grotesquely funny god-seeker language game”.
