An advertisement by Wysard from 1819 shows that he was working in Bern again and offering Swiss traditional costumes in the English style. As a commercial artist, he engraved local views, business cards, maps and military certifications. Gottlieb Emanuel Wysard married the artist Elise Wysard-Füchslin , with whom he worked closely until the divorce in 1823. He died in Biel in 1837.
