Gottlieb Friedrich Stump , from 1841 von Stump , (born December 11, 1791 in Cannstatt , † May 9, 1849 in Cappel , Oberamt Öhringen ) was a German politician and administrative officer.

Life and work

Gottlieb Friedrich Stump attended the Latin school in Ludwigsburg until he was 14 years old. He then completed his training as a clerk, in 1810 he passed the substitute examination in the Department of Finance (Ministry of Finance). From 1811 to 1814 he did his military service in the Royal Guard on foot and as a lieutenant in the Duke Wilhelm infantry regiment, during which time he took part in the French campaign.

From 1814 to 1816 Stump was an office assistant at the foundation audit chamber, 1816 to 1821 foundation auditor in Kirchheim unter Teck . From 1821 to 1828 he was the city school in Schorndorf . He then became senior bailiff at the Aalen (1828–1830), Künzelsau (1830–1832), Ludwigsburg (1832–1834) and Esslingen (1834–1845) offices. There he took early retirement in 1845.

politics

In 1825 he was elected as a member of the Schorndorf Upper Office in the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament, to which he belonged until 1831. From 1838 to 1844 he was again a member of the state parliament. He moved up in a replacement election in the Aalen constituency for Joseph Gehringer, who had resigned from office.

Honors, ennobling

In 1814, Stump received the gold medals of honor from Brienne and Paris and the Knight's Cross of the Order of Military Merit . In 1841 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , which was associated with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ).
