Hjortsberga burial ground

The 280 m × 85 m large burial ground Hjortsberga (also called Hjortsberga Kirke) in the town of Ronneby in the Swedish province of Blekinge and the historic province of Blekinge is located approximately midway between the cemeteries Björketorp (south) and Hammarskulle and Kasakulle (north).

It has around 110 preserved structures from the Iron Age to the Viking Age . There are building stones (6), round, rectangular (1), triangular ( Treudds ) and square stone settings (12), burial mounds (55) and 19, between 15 and 30 m long ship settings .

A number of graves in Hjortsberga have now been examined more closely, including a stone nave setting and the grave of a woman from the 9th century.
