Græsted is a place with 3674 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the north of the main Danish island of Zealand . From 1970 to 2006 Græsted belonged to Græsted-Gilleleje Municipality in what was then Frederiksborg Amt , since 2007 to the newly formed Gribskov Municipality in the Hovedstaden region .
