Grégory Habeaux (born October 20, 1982 in Bassenge ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2004, Grégory Habeaux won a stage of the Tour de Liège . Then he went in late summer at MrBookmaker.com as a trainee , got there but no professional contract for the following season. From 2005 he drove for the Belgian Professional Continental Team Landbouwkrediet-Colnago . At the Tour de Langkawi 2006 he was able to assert himself among the top ten with two stage finishes.

In the course of his sporting career Habeaux could only win one UCI race , in 2011 Dwars door het Hageland .

From November 2017 Habeaux suffered from cardiac arrhythmias. After the sudden cardiac death of his compatriot Michael Goolaerts in the Paris – Roubaix 2018 race , he decided in April 2018 to immediately stop cycling.
