The green Timor pigeon or Timor green pigeon ( Treron psittaceus ) is an arboreal pigeon belonging to the genus of the green pigeon . It occurs only on Timor and the neighboring islands of Atauro , Semau and Roti . Their existence is considered endangered. While it is even more common in East Timor , it seems to have almost disappeared from its Indonesian habitat, the monsoon forests in the lowlands.
