The Grüneberg with Abtsberg and Bruderberg (bottom right)

The Grünhäuser Bruderberg ( reg. No. Of the Weinbergrolle 45 01 15) is one of the three individual sites of the Maximin Grünhaus winery in Mertesdorf in the Trier-Saarburg district ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).

In addition to the Bruderberg, there are also the individual layers Grünhäuser Abtsberg and Grünhäuser Herrenberg . They all differ in the type of soil, slope and microclimate.

The Bruderberg measures a good hectare and is the direct neighbor of the Abtsberg, which is why it also has the same blue slate soil. The wines are characterized by very spicy, sometimes rustic slate minerality, are only declared as quality wines and have an extraordinary shelf life.

The plots are located on the southeast slope of the Grünerberg .
