The grave district of the Antidosis is on the southern edge of the Holy Road . It has a frontal width of 4.4 meters. The front wall made of large, polygonal cut castle limestone blocks also delimited the street space. It is still preserved at a height of up to 1.85 meters and up to five stone layers. To the west the wall overlooks the base of the burial precinct. West of the burial precinct is the first byway of the Holy Street, which led to the graves in the back room of the main street. On this side of the wall there are still remains of the ancient plastering. To the east, in the immediate vicinity , is the burial area of Daippos and Athenodoros , and the burial stele of Mania was also found there. The Aristomache burial precinct followed the side road .

The grave district was after 338 BC. BC built and built over the ampharete tomb, which was destroyed during the destruction of Athens after the lost battle of Chaironeia against the Macedonians under Philip II . It is possible that the district was rebuilt by the same family. A simple gable stele stands on the front wall . This is still at the original site and was made of Pentelic marble . An inscription - Greek Ἀντίδοσις Ἰατροκλέους - shows Antidosis, who was the wife or daughter of Iatrokles, as the owner of the grave. The district is planted with a myrtle bush behind the stele .

The grave district was first excavated in 1932 under the direction of Karl Kübler and examined again in 1961/62 under the direction of Barbara Vierneisel-Schlörb .
