The Grail Movement is a non-denominational community whose followers are based on the work “In the Light of Truth - Grail Message” by Oskar Ernst Bernhardt (1875–1941) under the pseudonym Abd-ru-shin . However, this had neither led nor participated in its readers' associations. The term Grail Movement is also not mentioned in the Grail Message or other writings of Abd-ru-shin. His work stands for itself, which he clearly formulated several times. The “Grail Message” offers an explanation of creation, it shows the structure in the material and is aimed at each individual as well as the sciences, but especially at searching people. The international Grail movement (founded around 1950) has its origins on the Vomperberg . The legal entity is the "Association for the Realization of the Grail Knowledge by Abd-ru-shin, Vomperberg" (founded in 1984) with its seat in Schwaz , Tyrol.

Synonyms and other languages

Other names are International Grail Movement , Foundation for the Dissemination of the Grail Message , "Natural Philosophical Associations", Association for Realizing the Grail Knowledge of Abd-ru-shin . English is the name of the movement Grail Movement , French Mouvement du Graal .

history

The movement goes back to Oskar Ernst Bernhardt, who wrote the first treatises and gave public lectures under the pseudonym Abd-ru-shin from 1925 to 1930 with the Grail Leaves . In 1926 the first version of his message appeared in In the Light of Truth . A movement formed after Bernhardt's move to Tyrol in 1926 or after the publication of the magazine Der Ruf , which promoted his findings. In 1929 the Grail settlement was built on the Vomperberg after some seekers wanted to live in its vicinity. During the time Austria belonged to the German Reich from 1938 to 1945, the settlement was temporarily expropriated, but came back to Bernhardt's widow after the Second World War. In 1951 a prayer and celebration hall was built there.

In 1999, because of content-related, family and financial disputes, the movement split, as a result of which Schwaz in Tyrol , Austria , became the headquarters of the numerically larger International Grail Movement .

There are around 23,000 professors worldwide and around 9,000 in Europe.

Teaching

The book " In the Light of Truth - Grail Message " is the main work. The core points of the monotheistic teaching conveyed therein are, among other things, the three automatically acting laws of creation:

  • The law of interaction : everyone has to bear the resulting and developing consequences (consequences, repercussions) of his thoughts and actions.

Everyone must reap what they have sown (that is, the law of retribution of wages and punishment, "law of karma").

  • The law of attraction of the same kind : Like attracts like.
  • The law of gravity : According to this, the coarser, heavy and coarse material would sink downwards (into the earthly world), move away from God, while the fine things rise upwards (to God).

According to Bernhardt, they work together to determine the fate of a person and trigger it according to the decisions made by them. Because of the complete personal responsibility, a vicarious assumption of sins - for example through Christ's death on the cross - is not possible. Furthermore, Bernhardt's teaching also contains the thought of reincarnation .

Devotionals and practice

There are devotions every Sunday and special celebrations three times a year. Not only those who confess the Grail Message, but also those who seek can take part in the devotions, but not in the celebrations. The Grail Movement has no actual membership, the contact between the individual countries and the International Grail Movement varies in intensity. The local “Grail Circles” hold devotions, lectures and meetings.
