Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach ( Blackpool , Lancashire , UK ) is a Möbius - wooden roller coaster manufacturer's Charles Paige , which opened the 1935th It is also one of three remaining Möbius loop roller coasters worldwide and the only one in Europe.
Over the years the railway went through some changes. In 2004 a fire devastated the station, which meant that the railway was closed for most of the year. In 2006 the railway received new trains.
It is 19 meters high and each track is 1006 meters long, creating a total track length of 2013 meters. It has an odd number of curves, which means that the one train leaving the station is slightly offset. It is possible that the people on the two trains can touch each other with their hands.
Trains
Grand National owns four trains from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters , each with three cars. Six people (three rows of two people) can be seated in each car. The passengers must be at least 1.17 m tall to be allowed to ride. Individually locking lap bars, seat belts and bench dividers are used as restraint systems.
