Grand prize national de la poésie
The Grand prix national de la poésie is a French state prize for poetry. It was launched in 1981 on the initiative of the Minister of Culture, Jack Lang, and was awarded by the Ministry of Culture until 1996. From 1998 it was integrated into the Grand prix national des Lettres , which was also no longer awarded after 1999.
In 2012, the prize was revived by the Minister of Culture, Frédéric Mitterrand . The award, endowed with 15,000 euros, is awarded by a three-year jury.
