The Grange aux dîmes ( tithe barn ) in Montigny-le-Guesdier , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the second half of the 16th century.

history

The tithe barn has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1997 .

It belongs to the Malesherbes farm. The tithe barn was used by the manor , the chapter of the cathedral of Sens , to store the tithe until the French Revolution . The half-timbered building has a pyramid roof pulled down far .
