Granvik is a small settlement in the Swedish municipality of Karlsborg about twelve kilometers north of Karlsborg on the west bank of the Vättern .
Granvik was an industrial town with a steelworks between the 17th and 19th centuries . The center was the manor. Together with old farm buildings and workers' apartments, it now forms a culturally and historically valuable milieu.
Granvik is located in a nature reserve that includes the coastal strip and the offshore archipelago. The Bergslagsleden and Västra Vätterleden long-distance hiking trails also meet at Granvik .
