Gray Frederickson

Gray Frederickson (born July 31, 1937 in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma ) is an American film producer.

Life

Frederickson studied at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Lausanne in the late 1950s and early 1960s . He eventually lived in Rome and acted as production manager for several films such as Two Glorious Scoundrels and Candy . At the end of the decade, he settled in Hollywood .

Frederickson has been a producer in the film business since the early 1970s. Starting with The Godfather from 1972, he worked on several film projects with Francis Ford Coppola , where he mostly appeared as a co-producer.

For the joint production of The Godfather - Part II , Frederick, Coppola and Fred Roos received an Oscar in 1975 in the category of best film . In 1980, she received an Oscar nomination for Apocalypse Now in the same category.

In the 2000s he was the head of Graymark Productions Inc.
