The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club , or Greenville Triumph for short , is an American soccer franchise of the USL League One from Greenville , South Carolina .
history
While the United Soccer Leagues were preparing to establish another league, Vice President Steven Short visited Greenville in April 2017 and announced at a press conference that the city was a potential candidate for the new league.
On March 13, 2018, Greenville was officially awarded a USL D3 franchise, which would later be named USL League One. Local entrepreneur Joe Erwin is the owner. The name Greenville Triumph and the logo were released on August 9, 2018. At the end of August, former international John Harkes was introduced as the first coach.
