Greg Austin (born August 2, 1992 ) is a British actor .

Career

Austin grew up in Bournemouth. Before he became interested in acting he worked as a dancer. He danced modern dance , ballet , tap and street dance , among others . This led to the fact that he also appeared in musicals. Austin later attended the Arts Educational School in London, which he graduated with a musical degree in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, Austin starred young Gordon Selfridge on ITV's drama television series Mr Selfridge . He received this offer before he graduated from school. Austin also appeared as Rufus Barton on an episode of Law & Order: UK . In 2015 he starred in the short film Into the Surf . A year later he starred in another short film called Backing Up .

2016 Austin was as Chalie Schmith in Doctor Who - spin-off class cast. Austin's character Charlie is an alien who falls in love with his classmate Matteusz. At first Austin didn't know that his character was alien. As he read the script, he believed that Charlie was a little socially retarded and might have a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome . That helped him to have a different view of things and to get an alien perspective.

Austin and his girlfriend Abigail Cole got married in October 2016 after a relationship of nine and a half years. Austin has his own Youtube channel called EuphAuric .
