Gregory Allyn Palast (born June 26, 1952 in Los Angeles ) is a journalist and investigative journalist who works for the British newspaper The Observer . He wrote several articles on corporate power and often works with trade unions and consumer organizations.

He became known in 2000 when he reported tampering with the Florida voter register . He made serious charges against Governor Jeb Bush , the brother of President George W. Bush . The manipulations in Florida should have led to George W. Bush and not Al Gore the presidential elections of the United States won in the fall 2000th

Palast lives in London and New York City . He's from Los Angeles , " from the scrap end of LA, between the power plant and the landfill, " as he himself writes. He graduated from the University of Chicago . Palast lectured at Cambridge University and the University of São Paulo .
