Greg Wheatley
Greg Wheatley ( Alfred William Gregory "Dad" Wheatley ; born October 20, 1882 in St Kilda , † March 1, 1961 ) was an Australian middle-distance runner .
In 1905 and 1909 he was the Australasian champion over 880 yards and in the mile run . At the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 , he was fourth over 1500 m and eliminated over 800 m in the preliminary run.
At the Festival of Empire, which celebrated the coronation of George V in 1911, he finished second over 880 yards.
