Gregorio Bartolini
Gregorio Bartolini (born December 6, 1818 in Rome , † July 26, 1890 there ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman, Cistercian , abbot and abbot general .
life and work
Bartolini was a monk and librarian at the Santa Croce Monastery in Gerusalemme (Rome) . From 1880 until his death he was (as successor to Teobaldo Cesari ) elected, from 1886 appointed by the Pope, Abbot General of the Cistercian Order (successor: Leopold Wackarž ) and at the same time Abbot of Santa Croce.
