Gregorio Juárez Sacasa
Gregorio Juárez Sacasa (born May 9, 1800 in León , Nicaragua; † September 21, 1879 ibid) was a member of the Duumvir , which formed the head of state of Nicaragua from October 19 to November 15, 1857 .
Life
Gregorio Juárez Sacasa attended the Convento de San Francisco in León . With the decree of September 7, 1829, the government took the religious order away from the legal person. With the decree of January 8, 1830, Article 1 abolished the monasteries called Convento de San Francisco , La Merced and La Recolección in León. He studied human medicine , pharmacy and mathematics. He was a member of parliament for the Partido Democrático .
He was the mayor of León and a diplomat.
In 1848 Gregorio Juárez negotiated with Felipe Francisco Molina y Bedoya about the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica in Nicoya. On April 22, 1850 Gregorio Juárez Sacasa was elected as a deputy in the delegation of Nicaragua at the Representación Centroamericana.
In 1870 he was a judge at the Supreme Court of Appeal in Nicaragua.
