Stadtbredimus ( Luxembourgish Stadbriedemes ) is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and belongs to the canton of Remich .

When the Moselle was canalized from 1958 to 1964 , the workers found the remains of an old Roman bridge where the lock is today. Analyzes showed that the bridge was older than the city of Trier, for example .
Edmond de la Fontaine lived in the castle of Stadtbredimus , his grave can be found by the church. Today the castle houses the administrative headquarters of the Vinsmoselle cooperative winery .
In addition, one of the largest wine festivals on the Luxembourg Moselle, better known as Picadilly , is celebrated here every year on the second weekend of August .
Stadtbredimus is home to the private radio station Antenne Luxemburg .
