Grenoble Jazz Festival

The Grenoble Jazz Festival is an internationally renowned music festival in Grenoble , which took place for the first time in February 1973 under the motto "quatre jours du jazz" (four days of jazz) and has now lasted a good 14 days. It takes place annually in spring.

The festival is one of the largest in southeast France. On 14 days, up to 18,000 visitors are offered more than 50 concerts with 200 musicians. In addition to top international acts, the artistic director Jacques Panisset also includes local bands, such as the Big Band de Voiron, in the program.

Venues

The festival not only takes place in Grenoble, but also takes place locally in numerous venues in the surrounding area, called "Vagabondage dans le département ".
