Grenzebach (municipality)
Grenzebach was a short-lived community in the Hessian district of Ziegenhain . Today its former area belongs to the municipality of Frielendorf in the Schwalm-Eder district .
history
In the course of the regional reform in Hesse , on December 31, 1971, the previously independent communities Leimsfeld , Oberbegrenzebach and Schönborn formed the new community Grenzebach.
As the community Grenzebach, according to the Hessian state government was still too small, it was on 1 January 1974 by virtue of national law with the previously formed large village Frielendorf and six other municipalities to new major community Frielendorf together . This moved to the newly created Schwalm-Eder district . Frielendorf was designated as the administrative seat. Local districts were created for all formerly independent communities .
