Grenzland - Przyjaźń is a German-Polish short film by Nicole Volpert . The film is a ZDF production and had its world premiere in 2009 at the Max Ophüls Festival and was broadcast on Arte in 2012 .

action

The short film tells the story of a tragic childhood friendship between two boys who live on the German-Polish border. When Konrad and Wojtek, despite all the dangers, play Indians in the restricted border area, Wojtek has a fatal accident overnight. When Konrad found out about this from his father the next day, the ten year old suddenly had to deal with the loss of his friend and the subject of death and grief.

Award

In 2007, the film was awarded the Robert Bosch Foundation Prize.
