Greta Magnusson

Greta Magnusson ( Maja Greta Magnusson; born March 8, 1929 in Vänersborg , † January 16, 1998 in Ed ) was a Swedish long jumper and sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , she was seventh in the long jump and fifth in the 4-by-100-meter relay . Over 100 m she was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 1952 she finished 20th in the long jump at the Olympic Games in Helsinki . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , she did not get past the first lap.

She was Swedish champion in the long jump three times (1949, 1952, 1956) and once over 200 m (1953).
