The Grigorow Glacier ( Bulgarian Григоров ледник Grigorow lednik ) is a 1.8 km long and 1.3 km wide glacier on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the south coast of the Albena Peninsula, it flows from the Stavertsi Ridge in a southeastern direction to Hill Bay , which it reaches west of Kostur Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the Bulgarian doctor and microbiologist Stamen Grigorow (1878–1945), who discovered the lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus .
