The Albena Peninsula ( Bulgarian полуостров Албена poluostrow Albena ) is an east-west extension of 13km and 9 km wide peninsula , the eastern foothills of Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula forms. To the north it is bounded by the mouth of the Lister Glacier and to the south by Hill Bay . It ends to the east at Spallanzani Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the resort of Albena on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast .
