The Hill Bay is a 3-km wide and 8 km deep bay on the east coast of Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago . It lies between Spallanzani Point and Mitchell Point .
The hydrographic department of the British Admiralty carried out an initial rough survey between 1951 and 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1957 after Leonard Charles Hill (1908-2003), participant in the British Discovery Investigations on board the RRS William Scoresby from January to February 1931 and on the RRS Discovery II between 1931 and 1939.
