The Groß Tessiner See ( Groß Tessiner See ) is located in the municipality of Jürgenshagen about 20 kilometers east of Wismar on the border between the Mecklenburg districts of Northwest Mecklenburg and Rostock . It has a circular shape with a diameter of about one kilometer, a length of about 1400 meters and a width of about 1300 meters. The main tributary is the Mühlbach von Hermannshagen . The Groß Ticino lake drains over the Seebach in the direction of Kleine Beke and thus into the Warnow water system . The lake is said to be very rich in fish. It is surrounded by a wide belt of reeds. There are only vacancies in the immediate vicinity of Greater Ticino and Klein Sien.
