Great intoxication

The Great Rush is 439.5  m above sea level. NHN high mountain on the border of the municipality of Neunkirchen and the city of Siegen in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located between the districts of Salchendorf (Neunkirchen) and Eisern (Siegen) in the southern Siegerland and is part of the Rausche next to the Kleine Rausche southeast of the mountain.

The Rausche mine was located in the Gutenbach valley and had been in operation with tunnel construction since at least 1872. Iron, lead, zinc and copper were mined. It was shut down around 1900.
