Great ingent

The Great Ingent (spread the spelling Igent ) is a 2917  m above sea level. A. high summit in the Zillertal Alps ( Tyrol , Austria ). The Große Ingent has three main flanks, which extend to the southwest into the Zemmgrund , to the east into the Gunggl and to the north into the Ingentkar .

There is no marked path to the Großer Ingent. The normal route leads from the Dornaubergtal via a path to the Ingentkarhütte, which is not managed . Then it goes pathless through the Ingentkar. The level of difficulty according to the UIAA scale is II.
