The megalithic graves at Groß Flotow were originally several megalithic graves of unknown numbers from the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Groß Flotow , a district of Penzlin in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). Only one of these still exists today. The remaining facilities were destroyed in the 19th century.

location

The preserved grave is located about 3 km west of Groß Flotow in a forest. The original location of the destroyed graves is not known. The Möllenhagen large stone grave is located about 3 km south-southwest of the preserved facility .

description

The system that has been preserved is the remains of a megalithic bed that originally had a stone enclosure. A large guardian stone is still preserved from this . The type of grave cannot be determined.
