The Möllenhagen large stone grave is a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Möllenhagen in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).

location

The grave is on the eastern outskirts of Möllenhagen, a few meters north of the federal highway 192 in a meadow.

description

The facility has a rectangular barren bed with still recognizable mounds. There are four stones at the western end and another stone at the eastern end. Ernst Sprockhoff did not succeed in reconstructing the original appearance of the facility more precisely. Ewald Schuldt classified the burial chamber as a large dolmen , while Hans-Jürgen Beier classified it as an extended dolmen .
