Reith Lectures
The Reith Lectures of the BBC have since 1948 existing annual radio lectures of important scientists, politicians and other public figures. They are broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service.
They are named after the BBC's first director, Sir John Reith , who introduced them.
