Large stone graves near Störpke

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic tombs at Störpke were two possible megalithic grave sites of the Neolithic deep stab ceramic culture in Störpke , a district of the town of Arendsee (Altmark) in Altmarkkreis Salzwedel , Saxony-Anhalt . Both were probably destroyed in the 19th century at the latest. There are no descriptions of the facilities, their possible existence is only documented by the two-time designation "Steinberg" on a historical measuring table sheet.
