Störpke is a district of the village of Fleetmark and the town of Arendsee (Altmark) in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .
geography
The Altmark church village of Störpke is located about 19 kilometers southeast of the district town of Salzwedel. To the east of the village is the Uhlenhorst, a meadow.
history
The village of Störpke was first mentioned as Storbeke in 1324 , when Hans and Heinecke von Kröcher sold Kalbe Castle and the associated villages to Albrecht von Alvensleben . In the Landbuch der Mark Brandenburg from 1375 the place is called Storbeke, the v. Lüderitz had income here. The place was named Störpke as early as 1528. In 1536 the village was called Storbeke again when the vd Schulenburg had income here.
In the 19th century, the megalithic graves near Störpke were destroyed.
On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Störpke was incorporated into the municipality of Lüge . With the incorporation of Läge to Fleetmark, the district came to the municipality of Fleetmark on September 1, 1992. On January 1, 2011, Fleetmark was incorporated into Arendsee (Altmark). So Störpke came on the same day as a district to the new village of Fleetmark and the city of Arendsee (Altmark).
