Höwisch is a village and part of the town of Arendsee (Altmark) in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

history

Of a settlement of the area around Höwisch early as the Neolithic developments suggested that megalithic grave Höwisch . It was one of the largest stone graves in the Altmark and was completely destroyed in the 18th or early 19th century.
