The Seehausen district was a district in the Magdeburg district of the GDR from 1952 to 1965 .
In the course of administrative reform in East Germany , which entered into force on 25 July 1952 the district Seehausen was determined by dividing the until then to Saxony-Anhalt associated district Osterburg formed. The district town was Seehausen in the Altmark. On July 2, 1965, the district was dissolved and incorporated into the Osterburg district.
