Thielbeer is a village and part of the unified municipality of Arendsee (Altmark) in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The Altmark Kirchdorf Thielbeer is located four kilometers south of the town Arendsee (Altmark). In the northeast of the village is the approximately 37 meter high Voss mountain with a former sand pit.

Local division

The districts of Thielbeer and Zühlen belong to the village of Thielbeer .

history

Thielbeer is first mentioned as villa Tyllebe on June 16, 1338 when the squire Heinrich von Garthow left a farm in Thielbeer to the Arendsee monastery .

In the Landbuch der Mark Brandenburg from 1375 the place is listed as Tilebe or Tylebe depending on the transcription of the manuscript . Of the 30 hooves , 17 were desolate . The von Gartow family owned the court, the von Bartensleben family owned the Arendsee Monastery, the Marien Altar in Gartow and the Clüden family owned it.

In the north of the village on the left of the road to Arendsee stood a windmill .

Incorporations

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Zühlen from the district of Osterburg was incorporated into the municipality of Thielbeer. On July 25, 1952, the Thielbeer community was reclassified from the Osterburg district to the Seehausen district . On July 2, 1965, it was reclassified to the Osterburg district .

On May 12, 2009, the Thielbeer municipality council decided by means of an area change agreement that the Thielbeer municipality should be incorporated into the town of Arendsee (Altmark). This contract was approved by the county as the lower local supervisory authority and came into effect on January 1, 2010.

The last mayor of the municipality was Marko Janke. Local mayor is Anne Roth.

After the previously independent municipality of Thielbeer was incorporated, Thielbeer and Zühlen became districts of the city of Arendsee (Altmark). The local constitution according to §§ 86 ff. Municipality code of Saxony-Anhalt was introduced for the incorporated municipality . The incorporated municipality of Thielbeer and future districts of Thielbeer and Zühlen became the locality of the receiving city of Arendsee (Altmark). A local council with five members including the local mayor was formed in the incorporated municipality and now Thielbeer.

Culture and sights

The field stone church Thielbeer probably dates from the first half of the 13th century. The church is a branch church of the church in Sanne.
