The large stone graves of Luttra in the municipality of Falköping are on the road to Vartofta, not far from the main town of Falköping , in the province of Västra Götaland in Sweden .

The two megalithic sites belong to a cluster of 270 of the total of around 400 known sites in Sweden from around 3000 BC. BC, which are concentrated in this region. The stone graves indicate an early settlement of the area by the carriers of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). The passage grave is a form of Neolithic megalithic systems, which consists of a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form can be found primarily in Denmark, Germany and Scandinavia as well as occasionally in France and the Netherlands.

Luttra 1, also Luttra West

The passage grave Luttra 1 ( RAÄ -Nr. Luttra 15: 1 or Knaggården Lage ) is one of the most distinctive structures in the area, despite its many missing bearing and cap stones. It is located on a hill about 14 × 7 meters. The seven bearing stones and a capstone measuring around 3.0 × 2.0 meters have been preserved. The chamber, oriented from northeast to southwest, is about 7.0 m long and 2.5 m wide.

The Luttra 2 grave is in the same space.

Luttra 2, also Luttra East

The passage grave Luttra 2 (RAÄ No. Luttra 16: 1; location ) is located on a hill about 18 m in diameter and 2.0 m high. The presumably approximately 6.0 m long chamber and the approximately 4.0 m long corridor are still in the ground. Only a few cap stones of the corridor and chamber as well as four bearing stone tops are visible. The complex was excavated by Hildebrand in 1863. He found the remains of about a hundred people along with six amber beads and flint and bone tools.

The wife of Luttra ( Swedish Hallonflickan ) is a Neolithic bog body , which was found in Luttra 1,943th
