Great stone grave Dobbin (Dobbertin)

The large stone grave Dobbin was a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Dobbin , a district of Dobbertin in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was destroyed in the 19th century.

According to Friedrich Schlie , the grave was about 2 km west of Dobbertin near Dobbin on the road to Below on the land of the leaseholder Wendt. There was also a flat burial ground in the same place .

description

No details are available about the grave. It was opened “years ago” in 1901 and was probably removed in the process. No information is available about possible finds. According to Robert Beltz, it was an underground stone chamber. Ewald Schuldt classified the grave on the basis of this information as an ancient dolmen .
