Mürz Valley Cycle Path

The Mürz Valley Cycle Path is a 68 km long cycle path in Styria , Austria , with a 650 m ascent and an average travel time of 5 hours. It begins in Mürzsteg and leads via Neuberg an der Mürz to Mürzzuschlag , and further along the Mürz to Bruck an der Mur .

The 68 km long cycle path runs from Mürzsteg via Lanau, Krampen, Neuberg an der Mürz , Kapellen (Styria) , and further along the Mürz to Mürzzuschlag , where the Semmering cycle path joins when coming from the east. The cycle path continues via Hönigsberg (municipalities Langenwang, Mürzzuschlag) , Langenwang , Krieglach , Mitterndorf and Wartberg in the Mürz Valley to Kindberg . Via Allerheiligen in the Mürz Valley , the route continues along the Mürz to St. Marein and Kapfenberg and finally ends in Bruck an der Mur , where the Mur Cycle Path and the Lamingtal Cycle Path also run.

The bike course runs mainly on corridors of sufficient width. The maximum gradient is 15% and is therefore well suited for family outings. The signage is continuous and uniform with green lettering. Parking in Mürzsteg is available in front of the sports field and opposite the municipal office.
