Great stone grave in Wartenberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Wartenberg was a possible megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic deep-engraving ceramic culture near Wartenberg , a district of Bismark (Altmark) in the Stendal district , Saxony-Anhalt . It was probably destroyed in the 19th century at the latest. A description of the facility is not available, its possible existence is only documented by the designation “am Großer Steine” on a historical measuring table.
